Sandwich panel – what is it?

Sandwich panel, also known as panel or ‘sandwich’ panel, is a product used for wall and roof cladding. It consists of two elements: a steel cladding on the outside and an insulation core on the inside. It is from these, and especially the filling, that many of the features appreciated by the wide public are derived.

The double-layer board is an element that is easy to transport and install. This, combined with the relatively low price of the product itself, guarantees a budget solution. This is because it does not require heavy lifting equipment and can be installed even in potentially adverse weather conditions. In addition, it is available in many size, profile and colour variants and can be easily adapted to the requirements of a particular architectural project.
